This thing was worth every dime in my book. I use it daily to make smoothies, dips, sauces, milkshakes, and “nice” creams. I also use it to shred cabbage and make my own oat or garbanzo flours. I’ve had it for two years now and every time I use it, I am still so pleased. It’s also really easy to clean, which is a nice bonus!
2. Hand spiralizer
Hellooooo zoodles! I love zoodles. Zoodles = zucchini noodles! I use this to make GIANT bowls of “pasta” that I can eat until my heart’s content! This turns a boring ‘ole zucchini into a delicious, pasta dinner in minutes. I use this gadget daily, too.
3. Large spiralizer
Although I don’t use this as often as my smaller spiralizer, I love having this gadget around. It can spiralize so many things like potatoes, sweet potatoes, apples, carrots, radishes, beets… the list goes on! I prefer to spiralize things like carrots and beets instead of shredding them – I find it easier and prettier!
4. Garlic press
I looove garlic. I once wrote a 10-page paper on the mechanisms through which garlic prevents cancer. It’s real, people - garlic is a miracle anti-cancer food! I love to add it to almost any savory dish. Using a garlic press to mince garlic is way easier than mincing with a knife. It also seems so fancy when I use it!
5. Mason jars
I use mason jars of all different sizes for many different purposes (including drinking glasses). I always like to make extra of various things to save time later. Things like salad dressings and overnight oats are great to store and enjoy later. Here are the sizes I use:
32 ounce regular mouth
16 ounce wide mouth
16 ounce regular mouth
8 ounce regular mouth
4 ounce regular mouth
6.Chalk labels & chalk markers
These come in handy for all of those mason jars I was just talking about. When I make vegan mayo and my healthy white frosting, it is helpful to know which is which before slathering it on a sandwich!
7. OXO Pop Containers (4-quart)
Buying in bulk usually means saving money, so I tend to by flours and dried beans in large quantities at a time. I like having all of these items organized and labeled in single containers, and I have found that these pop containers are perfect for that! The 4-quart size fits a 5-lb bag of flour.
