Equipment you'll need: medium saucepan
1 can (15 oz) tomato paste
1/2 cup water
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1.5 tsp salt
8-12 drops liquid stevia (adjust to desired sweetness)
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1. Combine ingredients in saucepan over medium-high heat, and whisk.
2. Cover, bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer. Stir every few minutes, and let simmer for 25 minutes, or until desired thickness is achieved. Warning: the ketchup jumps up and can cause a mess, so be cautious when lifting the lid!
3. Remove from heat, let cool, transfer to an airtight container, and refrigerate!
