Equipment you'll need: medium mixing bowl, baking sheet
1 tsp salt
2 tsp boiling water
1 Tbsp liquid smoke
1/2 cup textured vegetable protein (TVP) granules
1. Preheat oven to 250F.
2. Combine boiling water and salt in medium mixing bowl, and stir until salt is dissolved.
3. Add in liquid smoke and stir. Then, add in TVP and stir until it's coated evenly.
4. Spread mixture on baking sheet, and bake for 15 minutes or until bacon bits are crispy. Stir frequently.
