This Apple Pie Protein Butter is absolutely DELICIOUS!
It basically tastes like apple pie in peanut-butter-texture/form.
Spread it on toast or spoon it straight from the jar. Trust me. It is AMAZING.
Not only is it totally yummy, it's also loaded with nutritious superfood ingredients!
The superfood superstar in this recipe is maca powder, which is a well-known adaptogen.
Adaptogens help our bodies respond to stress in a healthy way and promote energy. Who doesn't need some of that in their lives?!
Anyway, you will not be disappointed by this scrumptious nut-free-nut-butter.
It tastes like a total treat, but it is actually super healthy for you, sugar-free, low-fat, and packed with protein. You will love it!
PS - it's 100% made in the blender aka super easy to make and clean up! Woohoo!

How can I sub raw almond butter or tahini...or even dry milk powder for the protein powder (I can't afford protein powder)...but I love your recipe..sound good!
Annie
Hi Linda! I would try just using the same amount of dry milk powder. Also, if you have a Sprouts grocery store nearby, you can find protein powder in the bulk section for 6.99 per pound! That's where I buy it 🙂
Holly
