If you haven’t heard about spirulina yet, it’s blue-green algae that is jam-packed with vitamins, minerals, chlorophyll, and phytonutrients.
It comes in powder form and is great to add to juices or smoothies.

You can easily omit the spirulina from this recipe, and you will still have scrumptious sugar cookies made with no added sugar.

Equipment you’ll need: high-speed blender or food processor, large mixing bowl, baking sheet
2 cups almond flour
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
1 tsp liquid stevia extract
2 Tbsp water
pinch of sea salt
1.5 tsp spirulina (optional)
1. Preheat oven 350F and spray baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Add almond flour, coconut oil, stevia, baking soda, almond milk, and sea salt to high-speed blender or food processor and blend until it is a dough consistency.
3. Add dough to a bowl, and mix in spirulina and chia seeds.
4. Form into cookie shapes and place on baking sheet.
5. Bake for 10 minutes.
