This Keto Vegan Cookie Dough is absolutely heavenly! It's only 138 calories for a whole bowl of it. Gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, low-carb, and high-protein! The healthiest cookie dough EVER!
I absolutely love cookie dough. I always have. Since I was a little kid. What little kid doesn't love cookie dough?!I would gleefully stuff my face with Tollhouse cookie dough whenever I was allowed or when my mom wasn't looking (which was fine to do every now and then as a kid, but not if it becomes a habit as you grow up).
Story time...
As y'all know, I battled my weight for many years throughout high school and college and during those years guess what graced many of my late-night binges (followed by horrible guilt) at least once a month: COOKIE DOUGH.
It was so delicious but I was SO MAD after I ate it. Partially because I could not just have one cookie's worth (who does that?!), but mostly because of what would happen in my mind after the binge.
Cookie dough was one of those items that would end my "diet that I would start again on Monday."
Fast forward to now. Here's this HEALTHY cookie dough that you can stuff your face with but MINUS ALL OF THAT GUILT AFTER! Oh how times have changed.
As I've mentioned before, finding healthy alternatives to foods you LOVE and ENJOY is the absolute KEY to weight loss/maintenance success.
Eating this Keto Vegan Cookie Dough (instead of one that is loaded with fat, sugar, and excess calories), you get to love every bite, not induce guilt therefore ending your diet that will restart on Monday, and not enter that viscious overeating/guilt/dieting cycle that keeps you feeling miserable and stuck.
AND you get to bask in the glorious feeling of knowing you 1. just ate a LARGE serving of cookie dough and 2. you did NOT sacrifice your weight loss/maintenance goals! Win-win!
Oh yes, this reminds me (somehow?): I have a new favorite protein powder. It's low in calories, packed with protein, and it actually tastes AMAZING.
I mix it with water, add a little sweetener, and I actually can't wait to drink it every day... it's that good.
I've never found a protein powder like that before, so I'm super excited about it!!! Check it out! If you use this link and my coupon code ANNIE you can get 15% off ?

This is my kind of snack! Thanks for the tips on using Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener and peanut flour; I was typically using peanut butter and agave nectar for this kind of recipe. They taste good, but this is definitely a slimmer, lower calorie version. Low calorie is perfect for summer, so I'll give it a go!
Annie
Yes, definitely a healthier version!! Thanks so much for your comment, Andy 🙂
