I used to LOVE Starbucks frappuccinos until I became more health conscious. What I didn't love, though, was 1) the calories/sugar and 2) spending $5 every time I wanted one of these scrumptious, blended coffee beverages (which, especially in the summer, was getting to be a little too often!). Here is a healthy, homemade version of a Starbucks frappuccino that is low in calories, fat, and sugar, but still super creamy and delicious!!Cost per serving: $0.64

Ingredients: makes 1 serving
8 almond milk ice cubes - about 3/4 cup (or other non-dairy milk) *see step 1 for instructions
1 frozen banana
1 cup brewed coffee
6 drops liquid stevia (or sweetener of choice, to taste)
soy whipped cream and/or vegan chocolate syrup for garnish (optional)

Method:
1. Make almond milk ice cubes: pour almond milk into ice cube tray and freeze for at least an hour.
2. Combine frozen almond milk ice cubes, frozen banana, coffee, and sweetener in blender, and blend until thoroughly combined (add extra almond milk if necessary to facilitate blending).
3. Taste and add more sweetener, if desired.
4. Top with whipped cream and/or chocolate syrup, and enjoy!
