Pumpkin and hummus are two of my favorite things to eat.I had never tried to combine them before creating this Vegan Pumpkin Hummus recipe, and now that I've tried it, I cannot believe I have waited this long!
This Vegan Pumpkin Hummus is savory with a wonderful hint of pumpkin and absolutely delicious - the perfect fall twist on classic hummus.
It is also low-fat, gluten-free, oil-free and packed with fiber to keep you feeling full.

Equipment you'll need: high-speed blender
1 can (15 oz) chickpeas with water
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
2 to 4 cloves garlic, peeled
4 Tbsp sesame seeds
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp chipotle powder
salt, to taste
Method:
- Combine all ingredients in the blender, and blend until smooth.
- Garnish with more smoked paprika and sesame seeds, if desired.
