Hi, I’m Annie!
I have a PhD in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin, and I LOVE food & nutrition!!! During my college years I developed a passion for nutrition outside of school (my undergraduate major was Pre-Med/Psychology). Any time I wasn’t stuck in the library cramming my brain with organic chemistry or physics I spent researching nutrition, recipes, and ways to become the healthiest, happiest person I could be.
It did not take long to realize that the key to true health is through nutrition. I witnessed the power of nutrition firsthand, and by changing my diet to incorporate more REAL food, not only did I lose weight, but I was also able to think more clearly, have more energy, and live a more vibrant life.
I decided the best way to share my knowledge of and passion for nutrition with others is through this blog.
