Last May, my fiancé and I moved into an amazing condo in South Austin, and we are super lucky to have some really cool neighbors!! We love everyone we've met, but our next door neighbor in particular is super awesome. The universe had a plan when it placed us next door to each other! Here's why. 1) I am a health nut, but I love myself a good cocktail 2) My neighbor just so happens to be an importer of a new healthier for you liquor from Israel 3) I am a blogger and could help spread the word about this awesome new-to-the-US cocktail!! Serendipity, right?! Ok, let's get down to business. What is Tubi 60?! It's an herbal spirit derived from corn that is infused with a blend of lemons and herbs including ginger, mint, anise, saffron, turmeric, cumin, and ginseng. These herbs have anti-inflammatory properties (which helps fight the inflammatory nature of alcohol), so you're at least doing your body some good while imbibing! Tubi 60 has a crisp and delicious, ginger/citrus flavor on it's own, but I added a few splashes of sparkling water and stevia to sweeten it up a bit. SO delicious. Definitely my new favorite cocktail!Tubi 60 is finally available here in Austin (and will be available in other parts of the country soon - stay tuned!) and I highly recommend it if you feel like kicking up your heels with an adult beverage! Drink responsibly, friends!!! And definitely never ever drink and drive.
