Hello. I came upon your page when looking at research to feed my dog a raw diet and I saw that the page said Vegan dog diet and I had to look for myself. This is not a healthy diet and they get no nutritional value. Dogs shouldn't eat a lot of peanut butter because it actually is a cause of inflammation of eaten too much. This is not better than store bought dog food. I can see how this can be a treat but you shouldn't post information that is inaccurate. Please I would do your research in how a vegan dog food diet is the worst diet for dogs. Would you feed a snake a vegan diet no, because it was meant to eat meat the same with dogs. Don't get me wrong your posts look like good treat but it is definitely not a form of a balanced diet.

Hi Marie! Dogs are omnivores and can also thrive on a vegan diet just like humans! Here are some links you may want to check out 🙂

Here are a few "ask the vegan vet" topics, too!

My wife and I have been vegans 5 years as of August 20th 2017. Booter is a Boston Terrier, now 14 years in Oct. He has been eating V-Dog for 4 years and is still a healthy dog. We give him carrots for a treat once in a while. He loves carrots and broccoli. He also loves V-Dog Wiggle biscuits. So I'm not sure why Marie thinks a dog can't survive on a vegan diet. Our Non Vegan Vet said she was amazed at how well Booter looks.
If Marie is going to make such accusations she should do some vegan dog research. Thanks Annie. And if you would like to speak on this we would love to have you at the first VegFest of Corpus Christi, Tx. April 14th 2018.

Hi Marko! Booter sounds like a cutie! My dog Ginger is also super healthy and definitely thriving. Wow speaking at VegFest would be an honor!! I am so flattered! Unfortunately I will be in the final stages of my PhD program at that time - I graduate in May!!! So I don't think that will work but I would LOVE to come next time!! Feel free to email me and we can keep in touch!

Oh yes I will definitely keep you in mind. Our Facebook page is Corpus Christi VegFest.
And Your Ginger is beautiful.
And congratulations on your PhD. You will heal them that need to know the positive effects of a plant based diet. We like in Kingsville. South of Corpus. Thank you.
Annie
Thank you Marko!! Stay safe this week! And dry! If that's possible 😀
