Equipment you'll need: medium stockpot
1 bottle red wine
1 orange, sliced
2 cinnamon sticks
8 whole cloves
8 drops liquid stevia (or other sweetener of choice)
1/4 cup brandy (optional)
1. Combine all ingredients in medium stockpot and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Do not bring to a boil, or you will boil out the alcohol!
2. Simmer for at least 15 minutes (and up to 3 hours) at low to medium heat.
